During your first call, we have a detailed conversation and collect information about your medical history, insurance, and how long it has been since your last appointment. We go over your needs and find out if you are on a blood thinner or need to take an antibiotic before coming in.
If it is not an emergency, we take x-rays, review your options, and come up with a treatment plan together. If your treatment plan covers an extended period, we schedule each portion and break it down into more manageable pieces. Next, we go over insurance coverage and provide estimates before you leave, so you are completely aware of everything about your upcoming treatment.
If you call in pain and need a tooth extraction, we generally do it the same day. We have x-rays done, diagnose the problem, educate you on your options, and get the first step going while you are here.
